In addition to RUEX, there is also the Immigration Registry
As a result of Resolution 13699 of the National Migration Service (SNM) of Panama, a single registry of aliens will be established through the assignment of a permanent numerical identification number for every person undergoing an immigration procedure.
REUX information is confidential and may be consulted in judicial or tax investigations. It is mandatory for the NMS to include REUX on all documents it issues.
The Single Immigration Registry requires foreigners to update their information every year. By July 12, 2023, the deadline will have passed.
