The real estate market has been reactivated
By combining Panama’s geographical location, logistical capabilities, and financial options, the appropriate scenario is created for the reactivation of activities, especially in real estate.
According to the World Bank, Panama will have the highest GDP growth in Central America, although the economy hasn’t fully recovered. According to the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and Promoters (ACOBIR), mortgage loans are on the rise and by September 2021, they were close to pre-pandemic levels. As the trend continues upward, it is expected to continue.
The pandemic has caused the cancellation of numerous upcoming projects, allowing the existing inventory to be filled by the current market. More than 86 thousand people visited ACOBIR’s last virtual exhibition, and banks approved more than 134 million dollars in loans.
