HOW DOES THE PANAMA QUALIFIED INVESTOR VISA WORK?
The Panama Qualified Investment
The Immigration Program is a residency-by-investment program that typically takes less than 30 days to process. Investments must have been held for a minimum of five years and require a minimum of $300,000.
PANAMA QUALIFIED INVESTMENT VISA ADVANTAGES
Successful applicants will receive permanent residence.
Upon approval, the Panamanian government will provide health and welfare benefits and the ability to live, work, and study in Panama.
A spouse, unmarried children under 18, and unmarried children aged 18-25 who are financially dependent on the main applicant can be brought to Panama.
Citizenship after five years is possible.
The process is completed in a timely manner.
ADVANTAGES IN INVESTMENTS
Applicants must make a qualifying investment of either:
(or USD 500,000 starting October 15, 2022) in Panama real estate for a period of five years;
Investment in Panama securities for a period of five years; or
A 5-year time deposit in an approved Panama bank of USD 750,000.
ARRANGEMENTS
• The applicant must have made a qualifying investment in Panama
• A foreign source of investment funds is required.
• The investment must also have been held for at least five years.
PROCESS
• Submission of the application and supporting documents
• Successful applicants will receive a letter confirming the approval of their permanent residence application.
There is a typical processing time of 30 days.
